For many California community college students, October marks the start of the application period for the 23 campuses in the California State University (CSU) system.

Thanks to the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, a series of step-by-step CSU application videos has been created and available on YouTube to help students with the application process.

The series consists of 12 videos whereby a student having an issue with a particular part of the application can go directly to the video based on its title. The 12 videos include:

  1. Introduction (0:31)
  2. Create Account (5:49)
  3. Personal Information (6:29)
  4. High Schools and Colleges Attended (5:40)
  5. General Education 2020-2021 (1:52)
  6. College Coursework (14:29)
  7. Standardized Tests (1:51)
  8. ADT (1:09)
  9. EOP (6:05)
  10. Program Materials (1:31)
  11. FAQ (3:47)
  12. Submitting Your Application (2:57)

For example, a student having questions about how to report and enter information in the application – like a repeated course, academic renewal, test credit (advanced placement or international baccalaureate) and/or military credit – can refer to the ‘College Coursework’ video.

You can click on any of the individual videos listed above or check out the main YouTube channel link at CCC Transfer Counselor Website.
